Baldwin–a labor economist at Arizona State University, was determined to help her son finish college, get a job, and lead a normal life. In the book, she shares their 15-year journey through darkness, recovery, and ultimately to success. She also shares her groundbreaking research on discrimination in the workplace against those with mental illness and makes a passionate call for change.
