Goodwill – it’s more than the bag of stuff you donate. We find out how Goodwill Keystone Area changes lives with Jennifer Ross, Senior Director of Marketing for Goodwill Keystone
Most of us have the experience a couple times a year of filling bags with clothes and household goods we don’t need any more and dropping them off at our local Goodwill store. I knew Goodwill does good works, but it wasn’t until I checked out www.yourgoodwill.org that I realized how many important programs this organization offers to support people with disabilities and other barriers to independence in achieving their fullest potential as workers. The site includes some very moving success stories about individuals who, with the help of Goodwill, overcame disadvantages to gain work experience and enter the broader community. I asked Jennifer Ross to talk about their mission.
