9/11 Memorials and Remembrances Happening around Philly

Fireman's Hall Museum

There will be an event at 9:59 a.m. at 147 N. 2nd Street in Philadelphia. It will include a processional led by Fire Commissioner Adam Thiel and Prison Commissioner Blanche Carney.

Delaware County

Starting at 1:00 p.m. today, at Rose Tree Park, homage will be paid to those who lost their lives on September 11th ,as well as the first responders who have passed in the line of duty. They will also honor those who continue to serve the community.

New Jersey

Gov. Phil Murphy has ordered that the U.S. nd New Jersey flags to be flown at half-staff at all state buildings in remembrance of the people who passed away in the attacks. Almost 700 of the victims were from New Jersey.

Philadelphia Phillies

The Phillies will host a special pregame tribute, along with the rest of Major League Baseball, to remember the events of 9/11. They are encouraging fans to be in their seats by 6:30 p.m.
